Our Physicians
Allergy ConsultantsAllergy and immunology is a specialty of medicine dealing with the diagnosis and treatment of recurrent and chronic respiratory and skin conditions. Our allergists are specialists trained to diagnose and treat these conditions. All physicians have completed extensive training in this field with a two-year fellowship, and have subsequently passed a national examination in allergy and immunology. They are board-certified in both pediatric and adult allergy treatment.
Jeffrey M. Wright, M.D., FAAAAI
Dr. Wright is a native of St. Louis and is a graduate of Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee. He received his M.D. degree from Washington University in St. Louis, completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Jewish Hospital, Washington University and his allergy fellowship at St. Louis University. He is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Wright is on staff at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Children’s Hospital, Mercy Hospital St. Louis, and St. Luke’s Hospital. He joined the practice in 1984 and sees both adults and children.
Lisa V. Suffian, M.D., FAAAAI
Dr. Suffian is a native of St. Louis and received her M.D. degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She completed her internship and residency in Pediatrics at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital and her allergy fellowship at St. Louis University. Dr. Suffian is an Instructor of Clinical Pediatrics in the Division of Allergy and Pulmonary Medicine at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, Washington University School of Medicine and an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, St. Louis University.
Dr. Suffian is on staff at Children’s Hospital, Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, Mercy Hospital St. Louis and St. Luke’s Hospital. She joined the practice in 2001 and sees both children and adults.
Gary M. Goodman, M.D., FAAAAI
Dr. Gary Goodman joined our practice on February 24, 2020. He has been treating patients for over 30 years in Chesterfield. Dr. Goodman received his M.D. degree at the University of Michigan, did his pediatric residency at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine, and did his fellowship in Allergy & Immunology at St. Louis University School of Medicine. He is board certified in Adult and Pediatric Allergy & Immunology and Pediatrics. Dr. Goodman is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and is on the teaching faculty of Washington University School of Medicine, where he maintains an active role in teaching trainees in his field.
He also volunteers his time at the Community Health-In-Partnership Service (CHIPS) clinic in St. Louis, where he sees patients who are uninsured. He has been married for 36 years to his beloved Andrea and is the father of two young men. His pastimes include reading, lifelong learning, hiking, golf, and caring for bees.
Alexia Munter, FNP-BC
Lexi joined Allergy Consultants in January 2023 and sees patients of all ages. She received her BSN at Goldfarb School of Nursing and her Family Nurse Practitioner MSN at Maryville University. She previously worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner in a primary care office and has experience in care coordination, inpatient nursing, and population health management. She is a mother of two and enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, gardening, and walking her dogs.
Ray S. Davis, M.D., FAAAAI
After 39 years as a physician with Allergy Consultants, Dr. Davis retired at the end of 2022. He will be greatly missed by his colleagues, employees, and patients. His patients can be seen by any of our other physicians at both locations.
Susan S. Berdy, M.D., FAAAAI
After 29 years as a physician with Allergy Consultants, Dr. Berdy retired at the end of 2019. She will be greatly missed by her colleagues, employees, and patients. Her patients can be seen by any of our other physicians at both locations.
